Second release from Area51. First one "Ankh" was released
in 2005.
Kate Cain sings in Japanese and some parts in English.
She has a mysterious and fitting voice.
Yoichiro Ishino is a brilliant guitarplayer with lots of cool riffs and great
melodies.
Song like "Les Anges", "Crimson" and "Despair"
are just magic.
Both fast hard rock tracks and powerful ballads are among the 10 tracks.
Rob Rock guests on the closing 16½ minute epic track "Lord Knows"
.
To be honest one of the few things on this record that brings down the rating
is the singing in Japanese.
Hope the next album will be in English only.
Because the musical and melody parts are sure here.
It's time to let the rest of the world into Area51 as well.
